Is the new era for digital Financial Services around the corner? Hishaam Caramanli, UBS
The wisdom around 'long term' planning is that it should always be rooted in responding to what we know we 'must always get right'. And one of these critical 'must get right' topics is how to exceed customer expectations in an industry with many new challenges. A key impediment to exceeding customer expectation is legacy technology in a cost challenged industry with very poor levels of real compatibility and interoperability between clients, banks (agents) and software businesses (Fintechs). In this talk I hope to flag how we might be able to chart a course toward a nextgen Financial Services industry that mitigates some of these challenges.
